Hello, my name is David ten Brink. I am what you might call a "jack of all trades." I've had the good fortune to dabble in a little bit of everything. In the modern era of over-specialization, I consider it an asset to have been involved in many different types of business ventures. Starting at the end of 2008, I graduated from the University of Miami, FL in the USA with a Bachelor's in Architectural Engineering and a Masters in Architecture. In January of 2009 I moved back home to Costa Rica, where I was originally born and raised. Back home, I joined the ranks of my family's real estate development business. My first job was developing a 200 unit high-rise condo in Jaco. As Construction Manager I had a charge of over 50 construction workers and was entrusted in dealings with buyers, clients and contractors. Unfortunately, the US housing crisis hit our shores not long after so I was forced to adapt. Near the end of 2010 I began a construction material surplus store known as Costa Rica Pro. I setup an eCommerce store and through a lot of creative marketing and salesmanship I made a fare living selling surplus materials. We sold everything from electrical PVC & EMT tubing, to sofas and synthetic rattan pool chairs. In 2013 I started Ambientar Project Consultants (AMPROCO). Putting my experience in architecture, construction and development to good use, AMPROCO was a one stop-shop property owners looking to develop their land. We had several successful projects including the residential Corona del Cabo project in Playa Grande near Tamarindo. In 2017 I embarked upon my latest venture, A1 Costa Rica Real Estate. This was a natural extension of my experience and skill set given my background in real estate and sales. As a service oriented person, I enjoy working with clients to work towards satisfying all of their real estate needs. If you are looking to move to Costa Rica, to buy or sell a home or just rent something out, please get in touch with me!
